We are confident you will adore your new collectible. However, we understand that sometimes questions or issues can arise. Please read our policy below thoroughly.
📜 Our General Policy: A Labor of Love
Due to the custom, intimate, and hygienic nature of our handcrafted collectible dolls, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges based on a change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction. 🙏
Each doll is considered a unique work of art, made to order just for you. This policy is in place to protect the value and uniqueness of every JoysLove doll and is a standard practice in the reborn doll collecting community.
✅ What IS Covered: Damaged or Defective Items
Your satisfaction and the pristine condition of your doll are our top priorities. We take every precaution in packaging, but sometimes shipping can be unpredictable.
If your doll arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will gladly work with you to resolve the issue.
Here’s what to do:
Inspect Immediately: Please inspect your doll carefully within 48 hours of delivery.
Contact Us: Email us at care@joyslovedolls.com with the subject line: “Damaged Arrival – [Your Order Number]”.
Provide Evidence: You must include clear, high-resolution photographs and/or a video that clearly shows:
The shipping box and any external damage it sustained.
The specific damage or defect on the doll.
A close-up of the certificate of authenticity.
Upon receipt and review of the evidence, we will determine the best course of action, which may include:
Repair: If the damage is minor and repairable, we may arrange for the doll to be sent back to our studio for a professional repair at no cost to you.
Replacement: If the doll is severely damaged, we will create a replacement for you. Please note that for made-to-order dolls, this will require the same production time as the original order.
Refund: In certain cases, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion.
❌ What Is NOT Covered
We cannot accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for the following reasons:
Change of mind or personal preference. 💭
Color discrepancies due to monitor/device screen settings.
Minor, inherent variations in hand-painting and rooting that give each doll its unique character (this is part of the art form!).
Damage resulting from accident, misuse, improper care, or handling after delivery.
Normal wear and tear.
🔁 The Exchange Process for Damaged Goods
If an exchange for a replacement doll is approved, our customer care team will guide you through the process. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label and instructions for safely returning the damaged doll to us. Once we have received and inspected the returned doll, we will begin crafting your replacement.
Please Note: The warranty on the replacement doll will not be renewed or extended; it will cover the remainder of the original 1-year term.
📦 Return Shipping
In the rare case a return is authorized for a damaged/defective item, JoysLove Dolls will provide a pre-paid shipping label and detailed instructions for secure packaging.
🚫 Important: We strongly advise you to keep the original box and all packaging materials until you have fully inspected and accepted your doll. A repackaging fee may be applied if the doll is returned without its original, high-quality packaging, as this is essential for its safe transport.
🎨 Custom & Made-to-Order Dolls
For dolls that are custom-made or made-to-order (including specific skin tones, eye color, or hair color chosen by you), the policy is strictly final and no returns or exchanges are accepted under any circumstances, except for the manufacturing defects outlined above. By purchasing a custom doll, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
💳 Refunds (If Applicable)
Refunds are only considered for verified damages or defects that cannot be repaired or replaced. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of business days (typically 5-10).
🛡️ Warranty Information
